People still find their way to my dA and follow me here, so I just wanted to remind everyone:

I don't really post here that often. I have an art tumblr where I post everything, including but not limited to doodles, sketches, work-in-progress screenshots, notes about art things, and of course finished pieces when I get that far. I really like just doodling and posting those though, which I never really felt keen about doing on dA.

So if you're interested in seeing my stuff more, especially including doodles, I encourage people to hop on over to my art tumblr and follow me there. Of course there's no pressure though; I know tumblr can be confusing and a real drain on everybody's patience (word of advice though, you are not obligated to follow anybody if the things they post are rubbing you the wrong way, just unfollow them; your dashboard should be things YOU want to see, and you accomplish that by following people YOU want to follow (tangent over)).

I'm kind of saving my dA for finished stuff, when I get around to it. IE, at the moment, for fun I'm working on a slight redesign of Masane from the Witchblade anime, giving her "armor" a little more... well, armor; when I'm done I'll post that on here.

So, yeah. I appreciate people following me still and if people are interested, you can watch me in a slightly more active venue.

(I forgot to add, warn, and maybe slightly entice people by mentioning that there are some NSFW doodles on my art blog but they're all hidden behind "Read More"s to protect those who are at work or have more delicate sensibilities, so you won't see anything untoward unless you actually click "Read More". Anything NSFW is tagged "nsfw" so, you know, avoid that, or search that, whatever floats your boat)

I still occasionally pick up followers/watchers here so I thought it would be a good time to update.

Tumblr

I have an art tumblr, which has become my primary "art space" as opposed to dA. I post work-in-progress shots, sketches, finished stuff, etc on my art tumblr. I also have a personal tumblr full of all kinds of random, not-art related stuff. I also have a regular portfolio site but I'm still working on prettying that up.

Ustream

I've been messing around with trying out Ustream. I have a channel here where I try drawing stuff live. There's currently one recording on there (I had actually done two sessions, but I was still figuring things out the first time and I didn't record the session). I'm not very happy with the recording quality though, so I'm also going to try running fraps at the same time so I can post a higher-quality recording on my youtube channel which I'm just starting to do stuff with. I guess we'll see how that goes. If you're interested in catching these ustream sessions live I'd recommend keeping an eye on my art tumblr; I post a notice when I'm gonna stream. I'm open to suggestions though. I have a twitter I've used one time, I could start posting stream notices on there. Or I could throw a Journal up on here. I've kind of given up on streaming for the time being. Both Ustream and Livestream don't really give me the quality I'd like, so for the time being I'm just going to record things with fraps and dump them onto my youtube channel.

Life in General

I graduated from College about a month ago. I've been going to school my entire life up to this point, and I don't think it's hit me yet that this isn't really another "summer vacation." This is "build the hell out of a portfolio and start looking for work". Or it has hit me and that's why I don't feel as elated as I thought I would. Life is really weird right now. I kinda feel like I'm in a haze.

I'm getting a commission structure hashed out as well (having some mega girly-cramps kinda knocked me out for a few days which delayed this). I think I have the categories broken down, I just need to figure out how to format and display everything, and I need to knock out some examples.

So that's what's up.

Oh right I have a dA.

dA updates are gonna be pretty spotty. I have no real reason to come here that often. I still check, but I don't really have anything to do here other than stalk and seethe.

Whoa, like, hey guys.

Pfff who even reads journals anymore? I'm typing this more for myself. Justification for things! Yes.

I really wanted to knock out Shep's Curiosity 1.5 and Shep's Curiosity 3 before ME3 came out. For 1.5 I have everything sketched out, I just have to finish it. For 3... I had a very, very loose plan. I may just scrap the plan and see what happens in ME3 and take it from there, I don't know.

BUT ALLLLLLL OF THAT IS PRETTY MUCH PUT ON HOLD, because school. More specifically, thesis. Sweet jesus mary and joseph, thesis. Thesis, thesis thesis. Thesis is way more to tackle than I'd planned, I suck at being proactive, and I am a master procrastinator. Although I have to hand it to myself, I'm doing a pretty good job of pushing myself to not wait until the real last minute.

Plus, you know, there's a little game called Mass Effect 3 coming out which I would really like to play so, that's really my main driving force for finishing thesis early if possible.

Oh god you guys Mass Effect 3.

*cough* so. Yeah. School is unfortunately paramount. But there will be more Shep, and there will be your Kerri^3, lolicantdraw. This I swear.
